In adherence to our commitment to reliability and consistency, all items shall be dispatched exclusively via India Post's Speed Post service, irrespective of the shipping option selected at the time of purchase. This standardized approach guarantees that all orders are processed with the highest level of care and delivered through a reputable and nationally recognized postal service.  

Any reference to Speed Post in this context, and anywhere in this Shipping Policy, also encompasses Registered Post as an alternative, based on operational circumstances.

Disclaimer & Advisory

Given the highly specialized and irreplaceable nature of the numismatic items we offer, many of which are entirely unique and hold significant historical or collectible value, we strongly urge our esteemed collectors, particularly those residing in regions where parcel theft or mishandling is a concern, or those who are looking for peace of mind, to consider opting for insured shipping, even at the most basic tier of partial insurance of Rs. 200. 

Insured shipping provides a substantially enhanced level of security and peace of mind compared to standard postal services such as Speed Post. While we, as the sellers, take the utmost care to ensure that each item is securely packaged and properly dispatched, it is critical to understand that once the item is entrusted to India Post's Speed Post service, it falls entirely beyond our control. 

Consequently, we are unable to assume any liability for loss, theft, pilferage, damage, or delays that may occur during transit or while the item is in the custody of India Post. In such unfortunate circumstances, no reimbursement, replacement, or refund can be issued from our side. Therefore, we strongly advocate for insured shipping as a prudent and responsible measure to mitigate potential risks and to safeguard the integrity of your invaluable acquisitions.

• Standard Shipping

  • Shipping Fee: A flat rate of ₹100.

  • Service: Uninsured delivery through India Post's Speed Post service.

  • Dispatch Timeline: Orders will be dispatched within 3 business days after receipt of payment.

  • Delivery Timeline: Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days, but may extend up to 10 business days, depending on the efficiency of India Post's Speed Post service and the destination.

  • Responsibility: 

    • The shipment will be dispatched at the buyer's opted convenience and absorbed risk. 

    • As no insurance coverage has been opted for, the buyer bears complete responsibility for any potential loss, damage, or delays that may occur during transit and upon receipt of the package. 

    • This includes, but is not limited to, incidents of pilferage, freight theft, mishandling, or unforeseen circumstances that could compromise the integrity, delivery or existence of the goods. 

    • The buyer is advised to take necessary precautions and consider additional protective measures (delineated below) to safeguard against such risks, as we will not be liable for any financial or material losses incurred during the shipping process, as handled by India Post. 

  • Additional Application:

    • The policy outlined for Standard Shipping shall also apply in full to any items, goods, or services that are shipped at no cost to the recipient, provided free of charge, or offered on a pro bono basis by us, ensuring that all terms, conditions, and obligations outlined herein remain applicable regardless of the absence of payment or fees.

• Partially Insured Shipping

  • Shipping Fee: A flat rate of ₹170.

  • Service: Insured delivery through India Post's Speed Post service.

  • Dispatch Timeline: Orders will be dispatched within 3 business days after receipt of payment.

  • Delivery Timeline: Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days, but may extend up to 10 business days, depending on the efficiency of India Post's Speed Post service and the destination.

  • Insurance Coverage: The shipment is insured for a maximum value of ₹200 against loss or damage during transit.

  • Responsibility: While partial insurance coverage is provided, the buyer is responsible for any value exceeding the insured amount.

  • Recommendation: For purchases exceeding ₹1,000 and upto ₹5,000, it is recommended to opt for this shipping option to mitigate potential risks.

• Half Insurance Shipping

  • Shipping Fee: Actual shipping cost (as determined by India Post's Insured Speed Post service, for half the value of the shipment) + ₹70.

  • Service: Partially insured delivery through India Post's Speed Post service.

  • Dispatch Timeline: Orders will be dispatched within 3 business days after receipt of payment.

  • Delivery Timeline: Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days, but may extend up to 10 business days, depending on the efficiency of India Post's Speed Post service and the destination.

  • Insurance Coverage: 

    • The shipment is insured for half the total declared value of the shipment. 

    • The buyer assumes full risk for any value exceeding the insured amount.

  • Recommendation: For purchases exceeding ₹5,000 and upto ₹10,000, this option is recommended to provide a balance between cost and coverage.

• Fully Insured Shipping

  • Shipping Fee: Actual shipping cost (as determined by India Post's Insured Speed Post service) + ₹70.

  • Service: Fully insured delivery through India Post's Speed Post service.

  • Dispatch Timeline: Orders will be dispatched within 3 business days after receipt of payment.

  • Delivery Timeline: Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days, but may extend up to 10 business days, depending on the efficiency of India Post's Speed Post service and the destination.

  • Insurance Coverage: The shipment is fully insured for the total declared value of the dispatched goods against loss or damage during transit.

  • Recommendation: For purchases exceeding ₹20,000, this option may be selected to ensure complete protection for your order.

Terms and Conditions

• Shipping Fees: All shipping fees are non-refundable.

• Delivery Timelines: Delivery times are approximate and subject to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to postal service delays and Force Majeuer circumstances.

• Claims: For insured shipments, in the event of a lost parcel, the insured amount will be transferred, in full, to the buyer upon successful receipt of the claim amount from India Post to us. We will file the relevant claims and process all documentation with India Post, subject to the buyer's complete and unconditional cooperation throughout the process.

• Estimation of Postage: To get a rough estimate of postage for a letter/document weighing around 250 grams via Speed Post, users can visit the India Post website here. 

  • Under Article Detail, select "Letter/Document" enter the weight as 250 grams.

  • Choose Speed Post as the service. 

  • If the item is uninsured, leave the Insurance and Proof of Delivery options unchecked. 

  • For insured items, check both options and enter the desired insurance amount (typically starting from Rs. 200 or higher, depending on the user's preference).
