General Terms and Conditions

By accessing our website, visiting our Instagram page, engaging with our Reddit pages here and here, or making a purchase from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, Authenticity Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns Policy. Please read them all carefully before proceeding.

• Interpretation of Terms

  • Throughout this website, including all terms, conditions, policies, and related communications, the terms “we,” “us,” “our,” and “the seller” are used interchangeably to refer collectively to Rupiya Numismatics, Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, and their affiliated platforms, including r/IndianCoins and r/IndianCoinSales.

  • These terms are intended to denote the entities responsible for the sale, listing, or facilitation of transactions involving numismatic items and associated services.

  • The use of these terms in any context shall be understood to encompass all individuals, representatives, agents, or entities acting on behalf of Rupiya Numismatics, Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, or their affiliated platforms, as applicable. 

  • No distinction is intended or implied by the use of one term over another, and all such references shall be construed as referring to the same collective entity or entities unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • By proceeding with the purchase or engaging with our platforms, the user or buyer acknowledges and agrees to this interpretation and understands that any reference to “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the seller” pertains to the aforementioned entities and their respective operations.

• Acknowledgment and Agreement by the Buyer

  • By placing an order or engaging in any transaction with Rupiya Numismatics, Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, or their affiliated platforms, the buyer expressly acknowledges and confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions, as well as all subsequent policies published or listed on the website, Instagram page, Reddit pages, or any other platform operated, owned, or managed by the administrators of these entities.

  • The buyer further acknowledges that their participation in any transaction constitutes an unequivocal acceptance of the terms, conditions, and policies governing such transactions, and they agree to be legally bound thereby. Any failure to comply with these terms may result in the forfeiture of rights or remedies available under this agreement.

• Applicability Across All Platforms

  • These Terms, Conditions, and Policies shall apply uniformly to all transactions made through any platform operated, owned, or managed by the administrators of Rupiya Numismatics, Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, r/IndianCoins, or r/IndianCoinSales.

  • This includes, but is not limited to, transactions conducted via the official website, Instagram page, Reddit pages, or any other digital or physical medium utilized for the sale, listing, or facilitation of numismatic items.

  • The buyer agrees that regardless of the specific platform or medium through which the transaction is initiated, the same terms, conditions, and policies shall govern the relationship between the parties and the rights and obligations of each party.

• Applicability Across Nature of Items

  • All terms, conditions, policies, and provisions outlined herein apply uniformly to all coins, notes, items, accessories, and numismatic artifacts transacted on this platform. 

  • Any reference to "coins" or "notes" within these terms shall be construed broadly to encompass coins, notes, items, accessories, and numismatic artifacts unless otherwise explicitly stated. 

  • By using this platform, users agree that the defined terminology is inclusive and applies equally to all forms of collectibles and related items offered for transaction, ensuring consistent application across all categories of goods.

• Disclaimer of Warranties and 'As-Is' Sale Provision

  • The item(s) offered for sale on this platform are provided strictly on an "as-is," "where-is," and "with all faults" basis, without any representations, warranties, or guarantees of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. 

  • By engaging in the purchase of such item(s), the buyer expressly acknowledges and agrees that they are acquiring the item(s) in their present condition, with full awareness that the item(s) may possess inherent defects, imperfections, or other characteristics that may not be explicitly disclosed or apparent at the time of purchase.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the seller disclaims and excludes all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, authenticity, provenance, historical accuracy, completeness, condition, quality, rarity, or compliance with any applicable laws or regulations. 

  • The buyer further acknowledges that no oral or written statements, descriptions, photographs, grading assessments, or other representations made by the seller, its agents, employees, or affiliates shall constitute a warranty or guarantee of any kind.

  • The buyer assumes all risks and liabilities associated with the purchase, ownership, use, or subsequent disposition of the item(s). This includes, but is not limited to, risks related to the item's condition, authenticity, market value, legal status, exportability, or any other attribute or characteristic. 

  • The buyer agrees to conduct their own independent investigation, inspection, evaluation, and due diligence prior to completing the purchase, and hereby waives any and all claims, demands, or causes of action against the seller, its affiliates, agents, or representatives arising out of or related to the condition, description, authenticity, or suitability of the item(s).

  • Furthermore, the buyer expressly agrees that the seller shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the purchase, possession, or use of the item(s), including but not limited to damages resulting from inaccuracies, errors, omissions, misrepresentations (whether negligent or otherwise), or any other cause whatsoever. 

  • The buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy, if any, shall be limited to the return of the item(s) in accordance with the Returns Policy set forth herein, subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations specified therein.

  • By proceeding with the purchase of the item(s), the buyer irrevocably confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this "as-is" clause, and that they are entering into the transaction with full knowledge and acceptance of the risks and limitations associated with the acquisition of the item(s) in their present state. 

  • This clause shall survive the completion of the transaction and shall remain in full force and effect indefinitely, binding upon the buyer, their successors, assigns, heirs, and legal representatives.

• Buyer's Responsibility

  • Sole Responsibility for Satisfaction with the Item

    • The buyer assumes sole and exclusive responsibility for ensuring that they are fully satisfied with the quality, condition, authenticity, and overall suitability of the purchased item prior to completing the transaction. It is incumbent upon the buyer to conduct due diligence and exercise reasonable care in evaluating the item before finalizing the purchase.

  • Encouragement to Seek Clarifications and Additional Information

    • To facilitate an informed decision-making process, buyers are strongly encouraged to take the following steps prior to completing their purchase:

  • Acknowledgment of Review and Satisfaction

    • The buyer further represents and warrants that they have had the opportunity to pose any questions or raise any concerns regarding the item and that such inquiries, if made, have been addressed to their satisfaction.

    • The buyer agrees that their decision to complete the transaction constitutes an irrevocable confirmation that they are fully satisfied with the item’s description, condition, and suitability for their purposes. 

    • Any failure to conduct adequate due diligence or to raise pertinent inquiries prior to the completion of the purchase shall constitute an absolute waiver of any claims, disputes, or grievances arising thereafter.

  • Assumption of Risk

    • The buyer acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with the purchase, including but not limited to any discrepancies, ambiguities, or uncertainties regarding the item’s condition, authenticity, or historical attribution. 

    • By completing the transaction, the buyer assumes full responsibility for the item and releases Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, and their affiliated platforms from any and all liabilities arising from the buyer’s reliance on incomplete or inaccurate information, except as explicitly provided for in the Authenticity Guarantee and Verification Process outlined herein.

• Finality of Sales

  • All sales conducted through Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, or their affiliated platforms, including r/IndianCoins and r/IndianCoinSales, are final and binding upon the completion of the transaction. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the applicable policies, such as the Authenticity Guarantee or Refund Policy, no cancellations, returns, or modifications to the order shall be permitted after the purchase has been finalized.

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

    • Change of mind or personal preference.

    • Infinitesimally minor discrepancies in color, size, or appearance that do not affect the item's value.

    • Delays in shipping or delivery.

  • Delivery times are estimates and subject to factors beyond our control, including postal service delays.

• Returns and Refunds

  • Under no circumstances will returns, exchanges, or refunds be permitted, regardless of the reason or situation. 

  • This policy is absolute and applies to all sales without exception.

• Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution Clause

  • Governing Law

    • This Authenticity Policy, along with all transactions, agreements, and disputes arising out of or relating to purchases made from Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, or through our affiliated platforms, including r/IndianCoins and r/IndianCoinSales, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

    • Exclusive Jurisdiction

      • Any disputes, controversies, claims, or proceedings arising out of or in connection with this policy, including but not limited to matters related to authenticity, refunds, buyer responsibilities, or any other terms herein, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within New Delhi, India. 

      • The parties expressly agree that such courts shall have sole and exclusive authority to adjudicate any legal action or proceeding initiated under or in relation to this policy.

    • Waiver of Forum Non Conveniens

      • The parties expressly agree that the doctrine of forum non conveniens or any similar principle shall not apply to any dispute arising under this policy. 

      • The Courts of New Delhi, India, shall be the sole and exclusive forum for resolving any such disputes, regardless of the location of the parties or the place of performance of the transaction. 

      • By agreeing to the terms of this policy, the buyer irrevocably waives any objection to the jurisdiction of the courts located within New Delhi, India, on the grounds of forum non conveniens or otherwise.

    • Consent to Personal Jurisdiction

      • The buyer hereby consents to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within New Delhi, India, and agrees that any legal action or proceeding initiated in relation to this policy must be brought exclusively before such courts. 

      • The buyer further agrees that service of process in any such action or proceeding may be effected in accordance with applicable Indian laws or through any method permitted by the court.

    • Amicable Resolution of Disputes

      • In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with the multiple terms, conditions, and policies outlined on this website, the purchase of goods, or any related transactions, the parties agree to make good faith efforts to resolve such disputes amicably through negotiation or mediation prior to initiating any formal legal proceedings. 

      • This includes, but is not limited to, engaging in direct discussions or utilizing alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation, to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.

      • If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute amicably within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the initial notification of the dispute, either party may thereafter initiate legal proceedings in accordance with the jurisdictional provisions set forth herein.

    • Limitation on Time to Initiate Claims

      • Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to this policy must be commenced within one (1) year from the date of the alleged breach or claim, failing which such claim shall be deemed time-barred and irrevocably waived. 

      • This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise.

• Severability

  • If any provision of this clause or the policy as a whole is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect without being impaired or invalidated.

Limitation of Liability

• Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box and r/IndianCoinSales shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the purchase, use, or inability to use the items sold.

• Our total liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the purchase of any item, shall be limited to the maximum amount paid by you for the specific item in question. 

• In no event shall our liability exceed the purchase price of the item giving rise to the claim. 

• This limitation of liability applies to all claims, damages, losses, or expenses, and is cumulative and not per incident.

• Amendments to Terms, Conditions, and Policies

  • Reservation of Rights to Modify or Amend

    • Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box, r/IndianCoins, and r/IndianCoinSales expressly reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to modify, update, amend, or otherwise alter any or all of the terms, conditions, and policies outlined herein at any time and without prior notice to users or buyers.

    • Such modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in pricing, procedures, guarantees, dispute resolution mechanisms, or other operational guidelines governing the purchase, sale, or exchange of items through our platforms.

    • Continued use of our services, participation in transactions, or engagement with our platforms following the posting of any such changes shall constitute the user’s or buyer’s acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the revised terms, conditions, and policies.

  • Responsibility of the User/Buyer to Review Periodically

    • It is the express responsibility of the user or buyer to periodically review these terms, conditions, and policies to remain informed of any updates, modifications, or amendments. 

    • The user or buyer acknowledges that they are solely responsible for ensuring their awareness of the most current version of these documents and that ignorance of any changes shall not constitute a valid defense or excuse for non-compliance.
