The evidence provided must clearly demonstrate, to a reasonable degree of certainty, that the item in question is not authentic as represented at the time of sale.
The cost of obtaining such evidence, including any fees associated with third-party evaluations or certifications, shall be borne exclusively by the buyer unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by us.
Furthermore, the seller reserves the right to independently verify the credibility and reliability of any evidence submitted by the buyer, and the buyer agrees to cooperate fully in facilitating any such verification efforts.
Review and Resolution of Authenticity Disputes
Upon receipt of the buyer’s notification and supporting evidence, the seller shall undertake a thorough review of the claim in accordance with the procedures set forth herein.
This review process may include, but is not limited to, consultation with internal experts, re-examination of the item in question, and/or submission of the item to an independent third-party authority for further evaluation.
If, following the completion of the review process, the item is determined to be inauthentic, the seller shall work diligently and in good faith with the buyer to resolve the matter in a manner that is fair, equitable, and transparent.
Potential resolutions may include, but are not limited to, a full or partial refund of the purchase price (as outlined in the Returns Policy), replacement of the item with an authentic equivalent (if available), or other remedies as mutually agreed upon by the parties.
In the event that the seller determines, in its sole discretion, that the item is authentic and that the buyer’s claim lacks merit, the seller shall provide written notification to the buyer detailing the basis for such determination. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that the seller’s determination, absent clear and convincing evidence of error or misconduct, shall be final and binding.
Limitation of Liability and Exclusion of Consequential Damages

Under no circumstances shall the seller be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, or diminished value of the item, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether the seller was advised of the possibility thereof.
Limitations

The authenticity guarantee provided by Indian Coin Forvm, The Coin Box , and our affiliated platforms, including r/IndianCoins and r/IndianCoinSales, is expressly limited to items purchased directly from these entities or through their authorized channels.

This includes, but is not limited to, physical damage, restoration attempts, cleaning, improper storage, environmental exposure, or any other actions or omissions that may affect the item’s condition, appearance, or authenticity.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the item is handled, stored, and maintained in a manner consistent with industry best practices for numismatic collectibles.
